OMFG it feels like Summer! Every time June rolls around I remember how much I love the next three months. Yes I live in perpetually warm SoCal but it still feels exciting to break out shorts and hang outside sans jacket. The official start of Summer isn’t until later this month but the past weekend definitely felt like a kick-off with a massive seafood dinner last night at Connie and Ted’s. It was just what the doctor ordered after the massive house party saturday night for my friend Trilby’s birthday.
I wore my new sneakers with this dress. I’d been wanting a pair of New B’s forever and these have a low profile and are comfy but still feel fashionable. I’ll also rock them with skinny jeans or shorts like in these photos. Other things on my summer to-do list: making sure to get to a beach or pool at least once a week, picking up my tennis game with regular lessons and getting some sun but not too much. Also keeping a relaxed attitude by taking it 20% easier everyday. Long Live Summer! xo
