Having a great hair day can really make or break it for me in the happiness department.

A lot of people have been commenting lately on how much they like my haircut and some readers have asked how I style it so here goes.
I wash my hair 2-3 times per week using Matrix hydrating shampoo and conditioner. Then I apply a volumizing mousse to my roots and a shine serum to my tips before blow drying. Sometimes after I blow it dry I’ll put some velcro rollers on the pieces that frame my face while I do my make-up or else I’ll bump it with a curling iron if I want more body. Although I’m not Asian I have what’s been described as “Asian Hair” and it does hang stick straight if I don’t do anything to it so this process is a must. After my styling is done I spray my whole head with an Oribe dry texturizing spray, it smells amazing. Then I’m done!
One thing I really like about having short hair is how little time it takes to style. I’m just about the most impatient person in the world so this hair cut is really working out for me.
I’m sure I’ll have to grow it long or get extensions for a role in the future but for now I’m loving the change of pace. I feel like a cool girl.
Hope this helped.
xo
